John Raymond Barker, born 1951 in London, started his entertainment career at the age of 18 as a professional musician. He formed his own band in 1970, and toured extensively through Europe. It was during these years he began to develop his contacts within the entertainment business that are today the very essence of his success.
Having made the decision to concentrate solely on the business side of the industry, in 1984 he joined the reputable “Viston Agency” in Zurich, Switzerland. For the following 6 years, he was responsible for booking talent into nightclubs, hotels, casinos, cruise ships and corporate events. It was here that he quickly established his reputation as an agent who knew the entertainment business from “both sides”, and was highly respected by clients, artists and colleagues alike.
In 1990 he launched his own agency in Germany from where he developed and led his company into the specialist field of corporate entertainment. In order to serve his growing portfolio of international clients more efficiently, he relocated his company to London in 2008, and further expanded his core-business of corporate entertainment consulting.
